I am trying to get into 3D animation by using these programs: 3ds Max, Photoshop, After Effects. Has anyone done this before? If you have tips would be nice.

The closest I've gotten is claymation Razz try searching for a program called maya, or something like that, usually hundreds of dollars, but the student version is free. I recommend trying that.

I've never used those, but I do have a 3D animation program. It's pretty cool. Free too.

YEAH!! It's Alice. Haven't used it for a while. I just saw the Ann's commercial while eating lunch, so that got into my head.

well i dont know about 3d but why not do like robot chicken? 3d animation is hard. i'm gonna take a class for it so i'll tell you after that.

robot chicken is stopmotion/ clay animation, go try blender, as I suggested before. might have to get some serious tutorials to help you out, I have no idea how it works.

its sort of clay animation but they use action figures, dolls, and other stuff somtimes clay for the special effects like blood.
