Forum Updates~September 2010 VER. 14

Following the rebirth, here are the updates for September 2010, as they are released.

• Made forum thinner, sleeker, better looking.
  
• Updated the Portal to only have what is necessary, and on the left side.
  
• Cleaned up entire forum. (Thanks Sio)
  
• Got rid of SmashFiles forum, and IWBTM forum, so now only Moderators can see them. May bring back SmashFiles if I can get youtube up and running again
  
• Will probably edit the navigation bar (i.e. Forum, Portal, F.A.Q. etc.)
  
• Also got rid of 'Other' in the 'Your Art Collection' because it caused a glitch with the forum, and was a very unused forum.
  
• Changed the 'Your Videos' to 'Youtube' to add variety
  
• Added regular Moderator to work in the more popular areas. (If you have any suggestions to where else they should moderate, please say so)
  
• Made Topic limited to 15 per page, also lowered posts to 20
  
• You can now put HTML into your posts, do not abuse this
  
• Made it so quote boxes can only be 3 quotes big, to avoid quote pyramids.
  
• New, sleeker navigation buttons.
  
• New users don't need to activate their accounts, they are just made.
  
• Add an arbitrary 'Exp Points' System that does nothing, but show how awesome you are.
  
• Realized that I didn't need moderators. They weren't even that good. They get all over the place

Will be updated throughout the rest of the month

Here are the updates for June ver. 1

• HTML founded, be working more on that
  
• Portal upgrade, added advertisements, different sites you should see, and a calender. (HTML)
  
• Teams added from different gaming communities
  
• A whole new page called 'Downloads' Where you can download programs which people have mentioned on the forum. Made from raw HTML
  
• Another page was added, the SmashFiles Youtube (SF YouTube) has been added, and is now on the portal, and the nav bar. It consists of my latest video's
  
• Over 30 new sprites have been added to the forum
  
• Sprites for the Downloads and Youtube section updated
  
• 2 New advertisements on the Portal
  
• New color for the bars, and poll added
  
• New page, giving credit where it is due
  
• Top posters, and a way to log in, now on the portal
  
• When there are new posts, it will be luigi, instead of a jumping mario
  
• Warnings added
  
• Quick Reply turned on
  
• More Smilies
  
• Added a 'Helper' Bar, depending on how much you've helped the forum
  
• Added a new song to portal
  
• New Category for IWBTM added
  
• New Smilies added
  
• Added moods
  
• Deleted teams
  
• New navigation bar
  
• Added a new banner
  
• Allowed Moderators to alter the helper points

Update number 2.
There are now new teams.
There is also a whole new section to the site, the downloads section.


The downloads section is for things that we the users of the forum use, that others may not, please download to your hearts content.

//EDIT\\ You know dont have to go to the portal, you can go up and click the D (Downloads) Section on the nav bar. Isnt that grand.

Update Number 3,
Another page has been added (SF YouTube) It has my latest Youtube videos
A whole crapload of sprites have been added by MarioFanatic.
