Nintendo DSI

Nintendo has announced the new DSi, its supposed to be a bigger badder...... wait i mean smaller and cooler version of the DS lite. Its supposed to have two cameras, a SD card slot, and better screens than the lite. It is as well smaller somhow, and you can alter pictures you take. I think when its released i'll get it but what do you guys think, is it worth 180 bucks?

I don't want to pressure you or anything but...

Don't you think you're sort of forgetting the GAMING aspect of it? I want Mother 3, not a fancy picture taker connected to my double-screened whatsit.

well the camera adds a few new ideas for games. I'm not sure why two. No it does not have 2 touchscreens, that would have no point. Its just a better version of DS lite with more stuff, and remember nintendo makes systems, and most of their games, and maybe they dont think that mother 3 is worth makin for the DS.

If thats your only reason for hating nintendo you might as well throw your Wii out.

And as freeman said, the cameras just add something to the DS, besides, its going to have 2 touch screens, motion sensor, and other things to make the DS more interactive

I may get a DSi, but i don't play portable games that much unless they're really good.

They said the DSi is expected to come out somewhere a little after April. I'll be getting one. I love the internet feature, being able to surf the web on a DS is win. Also, it would be nice if they'd bring Mother 3 to america. I hope that they use the idea of putting all the Mother games on one DS cartridge. But I still think it won't happen. It'd be nice though.

You may be surprised, but FF has a fanbase far greater than Mother. There's so little demand for it, and it really seems that Nintendo just doesn't care. One weekend a while back, NoA received more than 700 call ins requesting EB be put on the Shop Channel, the game which even after being #1 on the Nintendo Power Magazine most wanted list for the VC has still been shunned by the company.

they are going to secretly release it.... not announce just put it on there some random day.... and no one will notice.... until eventually someone notices.... and it will be the biggest surprise ever....

or they may continue showing us teasers, sell us mechindise, and then start selling the actuall game on christmas break. So they can get the most mony off us.

Theres a better chance of Mother 3 coming to america than FF7 getting a remake.

No company is going to remake a game, what would be the point in that?

well A. they could make more mony. Most people just want 1 thing changed in it. And originally they were going to make a different version with the change........ but either its a japan only or i havnt seen it.

Just a warning. Never type "aeris dies" in google. Hilarious picture, Edgar. Very Happy

I have ended up getting a PSP for Christmas, and since it can go on the internet, I'm not sure if I'll be getting one. If someone I know gets one, and the Virtual Console is good, then I'll get it. The outside camera is as good a a $10 camera, and I don't see a point in taking a picture of yourself while playing...

It is? Hmm...I just hope the come out with some more games for the DS. The game count was surprisingly low for the normal one.

yeah but look at the quality of the new games made for the DS. Some of them are better than some console games. Pokemon diamond and pearl, FF tactics A2, and Lost magic for example.

True. This is one case I'd prefer quantity over quality. I actually prefer the old style RPG's like the original Star Ocean, the GB FF games, and the GBA DBZ games over Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, FFXII, and the Budakai series.

well i hate DBZ all together, i havent played any other star ocean than till the end of time. Personally i though FF11 and 12's battles systems were brilliant but i still like ff7's battle more and the materia, so i have to agree on that one. but still, quantity over quallity? would you rather have 300 different versions off pong, or 50 different good games?
