now that's over with, the real reason for this topic; show me yourmoves poetry! type in a poem you've done, or make a new one just for the topic. Meesa start.

Fobbies
fobbies fobbies everywhere
colored borange, quaint and rare
you can be with them but please don't stare
their fobbiness is hard to bear
carrying mounds of exp
bouncing round so happily
with your soundstone they will flee
They're as fobbilicious as could be
They're so cute and bouncy, oh so round
Possessed by Giygas, hatefully wound
they'll attack you without a sound
So go and find them in my EarthBound.

Watches
Although you do not work you amuse me
I count the seconds while i Tee-Tee
Even though you go by time in Russia
I at least know what time it is where im not
Although you go counter clockwise
i try to fix you with my fancy ties
and when you'r glass breaks
Long time to fix it takes
Although you, at times, sufocate my wrist
To show my affection i do the twist
You're even embarising to wear
At least I know it's five o'clock somewhere
Although you do not work you amuse me

Re: National Poetry Month
by the way 95% of poems dont rhyme, teachers make things rhyme so that its easy to do. Hears my free verse poem i wrote after i read the oddysey.
THE BE-ALL AND END-ALL
You infernal gods with your indignant remarks
We had agreed on his punishment but you
You betray me and set him free
Do you not remember his disgustful actions?
Of course you do but do you care
Sitting here with your everlasting ambrosia and nectar
He has defiled us, how can you set him free?
His deeds speak for themselves,
The razing of sacred Ilium,
Blinding my own dear son,
Even eating the sacred cows of Helios.
His rash behaviour deserves no reward
But a long cruel life full of toils and hardships
Ending with a pitiful death, never reaching his homeland.
Now do you see the error in your ways?
For days I dreamed and wished
For the be-all and end-all of Odysseus
But you thwart my plans
I swear on the river Styx that I will fight
To keep Odysseus from his homeland
But I will allow him to live if he can reach Ithaca.
