I'm still deciding next year myself. Here's my thoughts so far:

Pros:

  • Get to be with my friends.
  • Play more.
  • New experience.
  • Can be good on a resume (If going into a music career).
  • I may get 1st Trombone.


Cons:

  • Playing in heat a lot.
  • It takes a lot of free time away.
  • I have to go to football games.
  • I have to wear a uniform.
  • I'd have to memorize music and movements.


Remember that the results won't be the definite decision. I'm not one to sway by peer pressure. Razz

uhh well i dont know you in real life but i did marching band last year and it was great. and theres no medals and trophies and bla bla bla, its marching band not the millitary.

I know...It's just I'd get a Band Letter, which I don't want, and the heat...If I lived in Maine, I'd join it in a heartbeat.
