what is real?

Is anything actually real? Or is it all a game? Like in the book epic. =) Reply.

Reality is the fact that everything accepts that you exist. Scientist have found out that by sending impulses to animals brains they can actually make them think they are sick. And they will get sick.

Wow I never knew that. So reality is what you believe to be true in your head? Does that mean we could mindwipe someone so that their subconsious does not believe something so they forget it? That would be pretty scary. Another question, how do we know the government hasn't brainwashed all of us and this is not reality? =)

It might have but it's pretty hard. What the scientist did was use chemicals on it to make it think it was injured. You know hormones and all that. So we'd have to have tubes connecting to the white house to be brainwashed that way.

You never know lolz............... Maybe technology has advanced and they pretend to be farther behind...

Anybody can think anything is real, including animals. Headaches could not be real but we think they are and we create them. If you think you have a headache long enough you will get one. The only one brainwashing you is yourself. I have lots of theories on how the world and everything can exist and not exist, in all reality "real" is a paradox.

Exactly. Reality has no proof, because everything is explained and proven in words, the most unreliable method for communication. If I think yellow is red, then it exists as yellow AND red. It's like good and evil. Jews say Hitler is evil (I think.), Nazis say Hitler is wonderful, most say he was horrid (or evil), and I say Hitler is was just plain nuts. I think nothing physical is evil. Only Satan. Everything is opinion.

So if everything is only as you see it, then it might only exist to you. so if you have a dream, then it was not reality to the other people but only to you. so if you do not know something but know some else knows something, does it exist? (I haven't taken latin III but i know there is info we will learn, but i dont know it. does it exist in my brain?)

Look Stephen Hawking did reasearch on black holes. He said in the end that everything is not real exept black holes.

Maybe Black holes are not reality but made purely of imaginary substances like dreams. Now there is an idea!

then how come light bends when they hit it? black holes arn a thing theyre a force. everything is just a force.

That is a possiblitity... everything could just be some kind of force... Hmmm... couldn't think of an exception to that one... =P

oh and for the dreams thing there is somthing made completly of dreams and ideas. Its called little big planet.
