Nintendo DSI

Depends on the game. I'm not much into the 3d games because the camera styles nine times out of ten suck. If it were Pong V.S. Kingdom Hearts, KH would always win. Some games even ruins their predessors such as Civilization 4 and Revolution. About 40% of the features in Civ 3 were removed for graphics, and the PC version had multiple bugs and crashed at the end of the game. Kingdom Hearts 2 took around 4 years to come out, and I prefered the first over it. Speaking of Star Ocean, I've got to get back to my walkthrough!

Anyway, what I'm looking for in the DSi is:

1. Virtual Console containing some classic GB and GBA games.
2 Fast and reliable internet capability.
3. Well-made, large variety of games.

well with the new features you can have lots of new games. but i wouldnt count on it having good internet. and i like civ 4..... mostly couss i havnt played the others. and i agree with the kingdom hearts thing.

Yeah. Nintendo needs to improve the Wifi thing...Playing people far away on Brawl can get so much lag...Though that's Wii. I don't play Wifi games on DS other than Diamond and Pearl.

true. Microsoft and sony have it down but nintendo..... and diamond and pearl are only good for wifi with trading, and somtimes battleing.

ok i dont know why but ok.... anyways have you heard of any games that are coming out for the nintendo DSI?

Nopes. Not a single one. I plan to look up some jpanese ones. I'm always watching out Anime games. Once I save up enough money, I'm buying a modded PS2 and buying the Japanese-only games for my favorite series...I also hope that they put the Mother series on the Virual Console. I've lost hope beating it on the Emulator with the continuous freezing...

dont count on mother 3. and why would you need a modded PS2? and what would it be modded to do?

American PS2's aren't wired to play Japanese games. There are parts you need. the games they come out with for the Anime series I love so much are only released in Japan because they wouldn't make it big in America or contain material that would be scrapped if dubbed in America.

I don't count on Mother 3, but, like Edgar says, a man can dream. though I haven't finished any of the games, I am a die-hard supporter. Nintendo's only screwing themselves over by not releasing it. Same for Microsoft no releasing Halo on other systems. Sure they have to share the profit, but it's fso much more profit. If Halo 3 were for PS2 or Wii, I'd own it...

lol cool. To learn a language i just learn the basics, then watch TV eith in english with the other language in subtiiles or in the other language with english sub titles. any ways since this has been a long topic do i get a cookie?

Yes, but it can't play GBA games. Hence, the VC.

Exactly. That's one thing I'm mad about. If you want to play a GBA on it, you have to buy it AGAIN! I'm never getting rid of my DS...
