oldies
right now i have no new games to play so i'm playing all of my PS2 and PS1 games. And i can spend a few hours playing Dark cloud, or champions of Norrath, but, my PS1 games that i'm playing (threads of fate, and Legend of Dragoon) i spend days playing a PS1 game, but for some reason i can only stand most PS2 games and PS3 games for maybe a few hours. Which brings to the point of this story, are older games better than newer games in terms of "fun"?

Re: oldies
I wouldn't say that. I feel they're just more "Original", compared to the newer games alot are just building on the older gamestyles and gameplay Ideas.

Re: oldies
Well said. Although I can't relate. Most games can draw me for one, two, maybe three days. I'm a mess in the summer when I get a new game. That's what I'll do. I'll finish tales of Symphonia and play Dawn of a New World in a marathon. I shan't sleep.

lol, ToS was a great game, still is, but I don't have a wii, so ToV will have to be my next stop for now.

Re: oldies
I think older games are more challenging and require more thought. Thus yes, I think they are better.
Re: oldies
But then you get the classic games that spit in your face and subsequently use it as a stylish ashtray, and that's why I'm not too fond on the whole 'extreeeeme difficulty' thing.
