Anime news!

The Spring release doesn't seem to interesting this year, Haruhi excluded. No one probably wants to compete with the SECOND season of the MoHS (Not Medal of Honor. ) . Also, the 1st volume of the Lucky Star DVD is coming out in the U.S. in a couple of days. More information will follow. See ANN for more information!

Updates? You want updates, then I give!

As any fan of of Haruhi can see, the second season a Haruhi did not come out last Spring, for Yasuhiro Takemoto, the maker of Full Metal Panic! and the main director (Not maker) of Lucky Star, is taking over direction. Their copywright rights last from 2007-2009, so it is assumed that season two will start it's release in 2009. As trailers and the "disappearence" of the official MoHS site shows, the second season will be based off of "The Disappearence of Haruhi Suzumiya", volume four of the ten light novels. We finally get to see Yuki smile!!!

The third season of Shakugan no Shana has been confirmed, yet the release date is uncertain. It is expected sometime in 2009, possibly Spring. I can't wait to see what exactly happened after Yuji picked North. Hoorays!

The third season of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, StrikerS, sadly has no hope of being released in the U.S., even though the first two have been. This saddens me, since it is my favorite of the series.

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Rei, a five epsiode OVA, has been scheduled to release on February 25th, 2009. It features three arcs entitled Hajisarashi-hen, Saikoroshi-hen, and Hirukowashi-hen. Lasting three episodes. The other two of the five epsiodes contain two other arcs.

For those of you who watch Naruto (I've given it up), the Naruto Shippuuden Movie 3, has been announced to release in the summer of 2009.

Doraemon The Movie: The New Record of Nobita: Spaceblazer is going to be released on March 7th, 2009.

i dont like naruto anymore. It takes 5 episodes for anything to happen. they spend most of the show thinking to themselves or having flash backs.

Yeah. Shakugan no Shana S OVA is going on right now. Expected third season this winter or next spring.

Because Anime series are television shows, this is being moved to Television. ~ 21stPrimarch
