Wi-Fi Set-Up

Can anyone here help me to get mine up and working?
I haven't got it to work since my parents switched Verizon to our internet provider, when it worked when we had comcast.
I have a linksys thing, and some sorta verizon modem. but my ds can't even pick-up a signal. And yet my mom's laptop still picks one up.
someone pleaz help

You have a linksys router for DSL? Nice. I do too. Is your DS in a 30-foot radius of a router with out walls in the way?

DS, not wii. also, I can't say I have an idea as to why it's not doing it, has your DS picked up other routers after the change?
