Game series.

have you noticed how realy big games series have been sticking to mostly the same formula for their game designs? Like Halo? It just seems like they take the last game, add a few new things to it and send it to us?

no i've been noticing this for awhile but now that theyve so far anounced Halo 4, Halo 3 recon, The halo movie, Its just realy hit me.

plus halo wars, but they anouced that along time ago. and don't expect halo 4 and recon to be good, because they aren't by bundie.

Thats cuz if they change the style of gameplay, than it's not really the same series. A new game in a series is meant to do at least one of the following stuff.

Update Graphics
Better Gameplay/Controls
More Options/Characters
New Levels/Stages

If they change the style of it, than its like a making a completely new series, which may throw it off and make people not like it.

I agree completely. How would you like it if Mario suddenly had Uzis? I'd probably play more Mario games.

Yeah. Game didn't do much for me...The cussing was annoying and unsual, and the style...If it were a normal shooter, it would've been cool. The similar gameplay with added guns...Stick with the norm or change it please...

havent seen shadow so i dont know.

it was an extremely spin off of the series, I don't know how Shadow the Hedgehog made it through development.
